She brings that experience to her new book, <em>The Lost Name Society<\/em>, where she delves into Dark Academia,, exploring identity, the power of names and folk horror in a boarding school setting.<\/p>\n<p>Five teenagers start induction week at Merrybourne School. Andy, the main character doesn\u2019t use his real name Aniruddha when he signs the charter entering him into the Pentangle Prize Championship competition. His name was changed by a teacher who couldn\u2019t pronounce it. In the competition, the teens are forced to play in a series of games based on verbal reasoning and spatial reasoning. \u00a0They are innocuous sounding games, but they are anything but. These games are deadly and twisted, and they can erase you.
