Here&#8217;s what they said when they chose That Asian Kid &#8211; &#8220;It&#8217;s cleverly written, empathetic, and a well-observed novel, fantastic characters who interact beautifully with each other. Although there is plenty of humour, it&#8217;s very thought provoking and poignant.
